CARBON MONOXIDE (CO) is an odorless, colorless gas that kills without warning and sends 100,000 people to the Emergency Room – and the leading cause of poisoning deaths in homes each year. CO prevents oxygen from reaching the body’s tissues and can be especially dangerous for children.
Symptoms of CO poisoning include: headaches, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, fatigue, seizures, chest pain, drowsiness, and loss of consciousness.
